On valentine's night we ordered a takeaway from our local Indian (we got small kids, going out was not an option). We swore we would never do it again. This evening we were treated to almost identical items from Spice Shuttle - and boy was it a treat! I've just had my first order from you guys at spice shuttle. And, growing up around East London, my expectations were. to be perfectly frank not set very high, as Brick Lane was only a stones throw away. I didn't think you could match the food I'd experienced there. But, you have surpassed yourselves. I have to say that both my partner and I have agreed that this is the best curry we've had the pleasure of experiencing in over 10 years! The Saag Aloo was as it should be, an absolute delight, the Biryani was best I've ever tasted and the Korma was perfectly cooked too! Plus the fact that the packaging was all recyclable, and VERY well presented which spoke volumes within itself, knowing that the restaurant delivers with a conscience.

An absolutely superb menu, possibly the best level of customer service I've had from any delivery service (The chap on the phone even called me "Mr Terry") and very reasonably priced indeed!!! I even got a 10% discount as a first delivery bonus!!!!! If you want an excellent meal that's honestly priced, spice shuttle will blow your socks off!!!!

Just put the last spoonful of chicken down our necks and are very happy that we tried you. The last time I tasted a pilau like that was in a guest house by the Ganges in Varanasi (1994) and I've been eating all the garbage English take-aways have to offer since then. Not any longer, as long as you don't change a thing that you're doing. Keep your chef. If he threatens to leave, pay him more. Don't pass on every compliment to him, just enough to keep him interested. Keep him on his toes. Really enjoyed it, thanks very much.

I must say we were a bit dubious about ordering from a flyer that came through our door without an address on but we needn't have been. The service was fantastic from the ease of ordering online (and the discounts!) to the delivery. As for the food we couldn't fault a thing, it tasted far nicer than the greasy coloured stuff we have always eaten from take aways and all in recycled containers, what can I say..well done spice shuttle!

Twenty years ago we started cooking Asian food from scratch using natural ingredients. Thanks to Madhur Jaffrey and others we got good at it. The only problem was, every time we ate in an Asian restaurant or ordered a takeaway we were disappointed. Their food wasn't as good as ours!! The food seemed to be full of additives and chemicals and left a bad taste literally. Some of the tandoori food was that bright I think it glowed in the dark!! It was obvious they had too much on the menu and they weren't able to cook anything properly. We gave up on takeaways but hoped that sooner or later somebody would start to cook 'real' Asian food and with natural ingredients.

When the Spice Shuttle menu came through the door we thought: "At last, now we can order a takeaway!!"

We have just had our second takeaway in a week — never heard of!! The food is outstanding, and it is obvious a great deal of care has gone into the whole venture from the menu to the biodegradable packaging which is excellent. Not only has the ordering process been brought into the 21st Century but so has the food. (The chicken livers were superb).

Well done guys — keep doing what you are doing, and keep up the high standard. We have had one complaint from our family: "Why can't we get this in Biggleswade!!"
